Gregory T. Keller, Partner
For the past 15 years, Gregory Keller has served as one of Stein McGuire's premier civil litigation partners who provide defense litigation on behalf of individual insured, business and public entities that include such notable clients as GEICO, CUNA, Mutual Insurance Group, and New Jersey Intergovernmental Insurance Fund. His defense representation extends to first party claims, insurance coverage disputes and counseling, public entity tort claims defense, and arbitration, mediation and subrogation proceedings. He has presented seminars to insurance company clients and to the New Jersey School Bus Owners Association.
Gregory also focuses his practice on general business, commercial and private and public sector employment litigation matters and has specific industry expertise representing credit unions, construction contractors and closely held business in diverse litigated matters. He is regularly called on to represent individuals and businesses before administrative agencies and municipal courts.
Gregory is experienced in trial practice and also in the presentation of appeals. He has appeared in numerous cases before the New Jersey Appellate courts involving such diverse issues as insurance law, employment and contract issues.
Gregory is admitted to practice before all law and general equity state courts of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey, the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law. He is a member of the NJ State Bar Association.
Gregory is also actively involved in local community affairs and currently serves as a Trustee for the Morris County Housing Partnership Development Corporation as well as on the Netcong Planning Board. He was the President of the Council for the Borough of Netcong (2004) and former council member (1994-2003); served as the Trustee and Secretary of the Netcong Special Improvement District (2000-2005); and participated as a member in the Morris County Open Space and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund (1999-2001).
Prior to joining Stein McGuire, Gregory was employed by The Prudential's corporate law department and was responsible for state regulatory matters.
He is a graduate of Glassboro State College and Seton Hall University School of Law.
